We have created this site so that all our friends can share our experiences as we ride across America (one in a car and one on a Harley). We will be going from Palm City, Florida to Seattle, Washington and back with stops at various and sundry beautiful locations. The main purpose of our ride is to visit with John's 94 year-old mother in Seattle. But on the way and back we intend to do some "sight-seeing."
We want to see some of the the "Mother Road" - Route 66 in Texas and New Mexico. We want to see the Rockies and Cascades. Yellowstone Park is on the agenda as is the great motorcycly rally at Sturgis, South Dakota. Touring the Black Hills is on the list. Then it's on to Milwaukee to see the Harley engine plant and back home via Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, the Carolinas and Georgia.
We will be leaving Palm City on Sunday, July 8. Arrival home is expected later (around August 10). Enjoy the ride with us!
